streets 2No School, No Promise, No Hope, No Contribution to Others

When one thinks of education there are often our own memories and some that are created by others.  There are visuals from our past that we can draw from, maybe friends, teachers, subjects, sports, or exactly what we learned and who taught us. When we are operating from the future and reflect to particular times of our education, we have our opinions and facts.streets 1

What happens when the education available is purely what life throws at you? Let's just say that you have been abandoned at an early age, and the streets and those living on them, welcome you. At five years old you glady accept this open feeling, freedom, and sense of belonging. You are happy! You reason in your mind what is scary and what is sad, or painful, for the feeling of having friends and someone who appears to care about you.

There are millions of children around the world that experience this daily. New child recruits join everyday in the life of street knowledge and an education that takes you no where. Glue and drugs numb the feelings that increase as you begin your journey of belonging to those who are on the same path.

Certainly some choose even after education a life that is hard, but many have no other options. For some such as these boys, they teach us that education is a desire but it is too late for them now, and they have done glue for over many years. We are educated about the effects and long term destruction in a society without education.

Kenya Reminders

Kenyan Coffee

Be sure that you have supported our exports here in Kenya.  Coffee and Tea are large exports for Kenya.  The coffee you drink can keep a family from going hungry.  Many people count on the jobs available on tea and coffee farms.

Web Site News!

For several months there has been anticipation about a web site. It is important to note that all the efforts on this site have been for the sole purpose of engaging others to support the work with the children in Kenya. All the credit for the efforts made to get the site available for those interested go to ALL the children of Seeds in His Garden. They are the ones that sacrificed the most as others made attempts for something that they would be proud of. Children are the key to the future of Kenya. God Bless them!
