Seeds in His Garden
Seeds in His Garden operates from generous donations from around the world.
The mission receives 70% of our funding needs through private donors, churches and schools. Then 20% of our gifts and other funding requests come from corporate social responsibility giving. The remaining support is generally through various foundations or small business that seek to support various needs within the home.
The mission is always seeking ways for creating self-sustaining projects so that we may further assist with the needs of the children of Kenya.
Although our primary focus is the children that live within SIHG, we seek to assist others whenever possible.
Donations help with the start up costs associated with beginning sustainability projects. It may be funds to purchase goats, a cow or agricultural interests.
However, these projects are not able to support all of our current needs. There are many needs around us, and although we fully realize we cannot provide assistance to everyone, it is our hope that we can support as many as we can.
Seeds in His Garden is proud to have earned the trust of donors. Our commitment is to show responsible, transparent and effective management of the vital funds that have been entrusted to us.
We take stewardship seriously. We recognize that every resource provided can transform the life of a child.
In order to maintain the trust of our donors, we implemented the following safeguards:
- Daily recording and monitoring of our financial transactions
- Regular communication with our funding agencies
- Annual financial audits by independant auditor
Ensuring the highest level of transparency and accountability to our donors is key to our future. We are always available to answer your financial questions.
